Soccer and Baseball

The kids have been busy trying out all kinds of sports and having fun playing with other kids, getting some exercise, and learning some basic skills.

Ryder had a baseball class in March and he had a blast; although, mom and dad were not very impressed with it.  It was nice to see Ryder interact with an adult other than family.  The class was an hour long which was one of our issues because they only practiced one skill the entire time.  As much as Ryder loves throwing balls he is not going to do it for an hour.  He followed directions really well for the first 30 minutes, the next 15 minutes would follow directions with some help, and those last 15 minutes he had a great time rolling around on the field.

We thought it was a waste of time and money, but Ryder still talks about going and always was excited to go so at least he never noticed our disappointment.

Rilyn just started soccer and is having a blast.  We can't complain too much about the program since Tyler is coaching, ha!  They were short coaches and so Tyler stepped up just for his girl.

She really likes being around the other kids, running around, having snacks after the games, and the most importantly spending time with her dad.  She has really loved the extra time with Tyler, and on practices I stay home and get a walk in with the boys which is treat for me!

Love getting some exercise while my boys relax
