Ryder at 14 months

We have a walker!  That's probably the biggest news since his 13 month post.  He started walking about 3 weeks ago and hasn't stopped running since.  He took longer to learn to walk than Rilyn did, but he is already way faster than she was at his age.  He runs everywhere, which means we have lots of bumps, bruises, and with all those teeth...bloody lips.  What else is new...he says, "book" and is starting to repeat words when they are said to him.  He likes to pretend to talk on the phone, push everything around the house, has a favorite page in a favorite book, "Lama Lama Nighty Night," is trying to climb things like chairs and bookshelves, and is really just enjoying being so mobile.

He is wearing 18 - 24 month clothes or 2T.  I still can't decide if there is a difference between those 2 sizes and from what I can tell there really isn't but pants are a little long so I haven't pulled out the 2T pants.  He wears a size 5 shoe.

Only taking one nap in the afternoon and that varies from 1 1/2 hours to 3 1/2 hours.  Sleeps through the night and generally sleeps between 11 and 12 hours.

He got another tooth, which puts him at 13 and I'm pretty sure he is getting more because the drool is out of control once again.  He also visited the dentist last week and did great.  He just laughed the whole time :)

As far as eating goes, his favorite foods this last month are cottage cheese, bananas, ravioli, and Grandma Decker's Juevos.  He is still a little picky, and hates leftovers, which seriously does not fly in this house!

He really entertains himself well now that he is walking, but of course he is making my days a little busier now.  Taking the two of them out has gotten a little more difficult because he is either falling or getting into something he shouldn't be getting into and Rilyn is well just Rilyn.  It's probably the first time that taking them out has been a little challenging.

He is such a sweetie still and will often cuddle and still falls asleep on my lap sometimes.  Oh I just love his cuddles.  It's been fun watching him become more entertained with things like books and songs, and I just cherish every moment with him!

Rilyn of course had to have her picture taken too :)
