Sawyer turned 2 on May 3rd! He was very excited about his birthday this year and kept telling us he was 2. He also had a strong preference to go to the zoo even with his older siblings trying to give him other ideas he kept saying he wanted to go to the zoo!
Daddy scheduled his work from home day that day so although he couldn't go to the zoo got to be a part of all our other fun happenings.
He woke up to balloons in his crib, which may have been his favorite part of his day!
Chocolate Chip waffles were on the birthday menu that morning.
Opening up a couple of presents
And off to Sawyer's activity of choice...the zoo!
We had grandma and grandpa Decker and great grandma over for dinner, cake, and ice cream. Sawyer loves trucks so his cake was filled with his favorite toys to play with after eating.
He had a great birthday. They are so easy to please at 2 and it was nice to keep it low key and just what Sawyer wanted.
