On January 21st, Rilyn turned 2! It seems impossible that she is already two. It seems like she has been in our life forever yet the 2 years she has been in our lives has flown by. Rilyn is such a joy keeps us smiling all the time.
At 2 years old - - - -
Favorite things are: people (anyone that will play with her), animals, playing on the IPAD, playing with her babies, reading books, being outside, and singing and dancing.
Favorite foods: anything sweet, eggs, beans, dried fruits/veggies, cheesy pasta, and fruit of any kind.
Newest skills: going on the potty!!! sleeping in a bed, jumping, throwing great tantrums, and lots and lots of talking.
At her wellness visit she is doing everything a typical 2 year old should be doing. She is still on the bigger side weighing 31 lbs 1 ounce (95%) and measuring 35 inches (80%). She is still a great eater; although, is becoming a little more picky. She is definitely at the stage where she is just too busy too eat.
We are blessed to have such a smart, healthy, fun, and loving little girl.
On her actual birthday, Tyler took the day off and we took her out to breakfast and let her order a milkshake, went to the zoo, and then met Grandma and Grandpa Decker as well as Gigi for dinner! It was a busy and fun day.
The girl still LOVES the zoo and asks to go there most days.
