Yea! Another girl in the Decker family. Clint and Megan had their little girl yesterday (3/10/15). Aebrynn Rose came into the world a little early and a little quickly but is healthy, home, and totally loved. I might have cried yesterday every time I looked at her picture ( approximately 999 times).
Rilyn has been very excited to have another girl in the family and wrote in her card that she hopes they are best friends and Aebrynn's favorite color is red like hers. Ryder said he would share his trail mix with her. He also informed me he did not want a baby, did not want to see Aebrynn, and definitely did not want to hold her. But, even he couldn't help himself and not only kissed her but held her. He kind of LOVES his Aunt Megan so I'm not surprised there was some jealousy there.
Xander the big brother wasn't too fond either at first, but I heard is much happier today. Those boys are sure protective over their women, and Aebrynn's going to have lots of boy cousins watching over her!
Aebrynn and Rilyn both have the same "wrinkle" on top of their ear lobe and when I noticed it on Rilyn I thought something was wrong with her ear (first time mama worries) and Megan thought the same thing. But, it's just unique and they must have got it from the Decker side since they both have it. It's something I love about Rilyn and even more so now that Aebrynn has it too!
We can't wait to snuggle this little girl some more and make sure she is dressed up in all kinds of cute and frilly clothes!
