May, like all months, flew by with our 3 crazy kids. They sure keep us busy and we love spending time with them. I worked a little extra in May since I will get the next two months off so that made it fly by even more quickly.
Since it rained all of May, we spent a lot of time learning about worms. Rilyn and Ryder get really excited to learn about different things so this month it was those fun creepy crawlies. We read books, watched TV shows about worms, did some arts and crafts, and made a worm farm. The worm farm didn't really work and our worms got close to dying. O'well, the kids really liked collecting them.
We spent lots of time indoors since not only did it rain lots it also snowed.

We got back to the Children's Museum
Got outside when we could

The store drives Ryder nuts because he needs all the food to be in the correct bin and not every child feels the same way so he spends his time organizing |

Early morning walk in our PJs.

Lots of yard work...yep I pulled all of that out from our yard. We have so much trash and dead stuff that no matter how much we pull out it doesn't seem to matter. We have an old car hood buried back there too if anyone is interested.
Ryder loves doing preschool so we try and fit some of that in although not as much as either of us would like. Rilyn could do without preschool :) I'm pretty sure she will feel the same way about school.
Ryder practicing his Rs |
Here Ryder was supposed to paint the noodle lol. He obviously needs some practice. |
Ryder reads for quite awhile every night. Rilyn is usually asleep pretty quickly. I have to go in and turn his light off and take the pile of books off of him before I go to sleep. I hope he always loves reading!
These kids love our dogs. We have been so blessed to start our family with 3 dogs, which have adjusted so well to having 3 crazy kids obsessively loving on them. Zoe is by far the best kid dog I've ever met. Sawyer is crazy about her and she is so gentle and careful with him. Also, this bottle of whole milk was an attempt to get Sawyer to sleep through the night. We gave it to him after he nursed in hopes he would be super full and ready for a full night of sleep...nope didn't work. O'well at least he had an excuse to cuddle Zoe.
Some other random moments we loved...
LOVING these pics! The sneaky dog pic, Sawyer's mohawk, Ryder organizing, Rilyn loving worms...so sweet
