Pumpkin Patch and more Fall Fun

Yesterday we went with our good friends the Solorzano's to a Pumpkin Patch, as well as had a delicious lunch, the mamas did some shopping, and Joaquin took Rilyn on her first ride on the back of a boys bike.....it was a wonderful day!

Rilyn has about 5 Halloween outfits, so she has been wearing those since the first of October.  This shirt has special meaning to it as Tyler and I bought it for her before she was born.  Of course, it was just about too small...good thing we found these amazing little pieces of fabric that extend the bottom of the onesies or it wouldn't have fit!
We traveled to Hill's Harvest Pumpkin Patch in Thorton http://www.hillsharvest.com/pumpkin_patch.htm
You should check them out!  It was a super cute pumpkin patch, with good and cheap pumpkins, and a free hayride.  And of course they had these cute little wagons we had to snag for the kiddos!

How do you choose the right pumpkin?  You put the 8 month old on the ground and take the ones she touches!

Actually Tyler picked this one and then sat it in front of her...but it is pretty perfect!

We did not take this monster one home!

 Photo time....

Seriously could this family be any better looking?  I think not!

Diana and I both LOVE a great deal, so we frequent the kid thrift stores in our area searching for little (cheap) treasures...and boy did Diana find one yesterday!  Check out Rilyn's first cruise on the back of Joaquin's bike.  Just think in 20 years it will probably be on the back of his motorcycle :)

It was a great day, and to top it all off Rilyn gave me my first hug from her last night.  She laid her head on my shoulder and wrapped her arm around my neck and squeezed...my heart melted for sure!
