Tyler and I have decided to create a blog to keep all our family and friends updated on the chaos that occurs here on Canal St. We know our chaos is about to triple in January as we are expecting our first child. So for all of you that don't know yet....I'm pregnant!! I'm 20 weeks along and feeling pretty happy with how amazingly awesome this pregnancy has gone so far. We are starting to feel a little overwhelmed (this means there was a major meltdown today) with all there is to do before this baby comes and can't believe all the decisions to make from what type of cloth diaper to use to how in the heck do people go on so little sleep! We have decided to give birth at a birthing center and couldn't be happier with our decision. We love going there and getting to know all the midwives. We just hope this pregnancy continues down the road of a healthy and normal pregnancy so we can continue there. It's been a lot of fun learning about parenthood together and we can't wait to experience it. Baby Decker is going to be in for a shock when he/she enters this chaotic life we call home.
Congratulations! I am SO excited for you guys! HOORAY! Maybe you'll have twins and it'll be a Double Decker. (But hopefully not a Triple Decker - that's overwhelming) :-)
ReplyDeleteCharlotte - Thanks! We are pretty excited too! I can guarantee you we are not having a double Decker; although, that would be fun. Maybe next time though :) Looks like you had fun in Disney!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!! How exciting!! Our babies will be very close - I'm 19 weeks and due Feb. 1! :) Enjoy this exciting (and, yes, very overwhelming) time. So happy for you guys!
